To celebrate Easter this year, River District will be holding the Golden Egg Hunt on Sunday, April 1. Join us from 10am to 1pm at the River District Neighbourhood Centre as we hunt for gold-foiled chocolate eggs and enjoy crafts, cotton candy, face painting, a giant chocolate bunny draw, and much more.
Participants may select from three separate chocolate egg hunt times: 10:15am to 10:45am; 11:15am to 11:45am; and 12:15pm to 12:45pm. (Chocolate egg hunts are currently full, to join our waitlist please email firstname.lastname@example.org) Starbucks will be on site serving hot chocolate and coffee. Romer’s will also be providing yogurt parfaits and their famous and delectable mini doughnuts!
The main designated parking area for this event is located by the River District Sales Centre, right off of North Arm Avenue, and is a quick six-minute walk to the River District Neighbourhood Centre, where the Easter egg hunt will be held. This lot is accessible via Kinross Street from Marine Way. Our designated overflow parking area is where Sawmill Crescent meets Rivergrass Drive, an approximate 15-minute stroll to the Neighbourhood Centre.
Please note that this event is for children between the ages of 2 and 12. All children must be kept under supervision of his or her parents/caregivers.
